Lieke van der Vorst is a young illustrator from the Netherlands who creates fairy-tale images on paper called Liekeland. She lives in Helmond, in a house with a large garden and is accompanied by her cat Lina and chickens. She studied graphic design and painting and in the last years of study she founded the Liekeland brand. She says she is inspired by the beautiful things that surround her: her vegetable garden, cooking, walking around the market, and drinking tea in the company of family and friends. He wants everyone to respect animals and treat them well, and he wants to convey that through his illustrations. She prints the illustrated paper from Artic Paper from Sweden. With a minimal amount of water and energy, Artic Paper produces organic and FSC certified paper. His illustrations of the press at Lecturis in Eindhoven.
