Pernille Stoltz's career path began in the early 90's. In order to travel Asia, she bought jewelry from a flea market in India and sold it to tourists. When she returned to her native Denmark in 1995, her account was emptied and her head filled with new ideas. So she opened a home accessories store that she made herself. Like so many other things in the life of Pernille Stoltz, her brand was named from India. In all the years she spent there, she was always addressed with Madame. And when it was necessary to open the store, she named it Madam Stoltz without a second thought, and that name sticks to it today. In making his products, he relies on Scandinavian minimalism, which he invigorates with the playful ideas he has accumulated in India.
